Our Values are worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry and evangelism
Worship at ZCC is intended to encourage the worshipper to connect with God from the depth of his/her heart. We recognize that music is a highly effective vehicle for conveying a truth or expression and also for unlocking the emotional gateway by which these sentiments flow. Our worship services encourage fully engaged hearts and minds that are expressed through singing, lifting of hands and other Biblical examples of worship.

Discipleship. Mentoring. Spiritual Formation. All these seem like monumental tasks! But the process of Discipleship is nothing more than becoming more like Jesus - more like Him in what He said and how He ministered.
At ZCC, we strive to become more and more like Jesus. The apostle Paul expressed this when he wrote in his letter to the Colossians, "We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ." (Colossians 1:28). ZCC uses Men's and Women's Ministries, Growth Groups, Children's Ministries, and Youth Ministries to develop every believer into the likeness of Christ.
Jesus showed us fellowship by example in how he lived on earth. Because we have fellowship with Jesus, He teaches us through the Holy Spirit how to love those in our church family. While Worship and Discipleship are how we show our love toward God, Fellowship is focused on building relationships with one other. The Bible has much to teach us on fellowship: "love one another" (John 13:34)... "accept one another" (Romans 15:7)... "submit to one another" (Ephesians 5:18)... "confess to each other" (James 5:16)... "be kind and compassionate to one another" (Ephesians 4:32).
Throughout the year, Welcome Receptions are given for visitors to affirm what they mean to us and help them feel at home at ZCC. We pray that all who come would know the importance we place upon their visit. It is our deepest desire to extend our Savior’s love while welcoming all into our fellowship! We don't need to look far to find bad news. From wars and disasters to broken relationships and disease, no one needs to look for the bad news - it's everywhere. But the message that God gave us is that there is GOOD News! Jesus told His followers, "in this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." In Luke 19:10, Jesus described His purpose: "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."
As we learn to love God (through Worship and Discipleship) and to build relationships with each others (Fellowship and Ministry), it is only natural that we would want to share this love with others! Sharing this love is Evangelism.
Paul shared this love with the church in Ephesus when he wrote, "because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our sins - it is by grace you have been saved!" The message of Evangelism is the wonderful message that God loves us, and longs for us to be with Him.
