Zarephath Christian Church collects shelf-stable food items on a regular basis. Food is distributed to those who come to us with a need. Our goal is to provide higher quality and healthier food items.

We regularly need the following items: Rice, dry beans, canned beans, soup, canned vegetable, mac & cheese, cereal, pasta, canned sauce, detergent, dental care items, soap, oatmeal, diapers, and any non-perishable items.

The areas we serve are Bound Brook, Bridgewater, Manville, South Bound Brook, and Bound Brook.

Our Pantry Needs You!

My Neighbor’s Pantry is the food outreach of ZCC.  We serve hundreds of families a month in our area… and right now, we need you:

We have recently closed a partnership with a major state-level partner due to policy restrictions, and this means that we are literally re-booting our food supply!

Here’s 2 ways to get involved:

  • GRAB 1: Every Sunday, we ask that each member of your family grab one thing from your cabinets (non-perishable, canned meat like Tuna, PB, etc) and bring it to church
  • GIVE 1: In the short term we will need to purchase frozen meat in bulk from a local chain store (Nonprofit rate) while we locate new partnerships

We will have the box truck right here on the weekend, ready to receive the food we all bring in!  Let’s stuff that truck, and let our community know that our Jesus, in us, loves them!

The clothing shop in My Neighbor’s Ministry Center is focused on providing quality & affordable clothing to families in our community!

Everything at the Boutique is priced to stretch your budget. We carry a beautiful selection of brand name clothing from Infant to Plus Sizes. Bring in some of your high quality, gently worn or never worn items and check out all the amazing prices on tagged, brand-name items as well as great, gently used clothing. The Boutique is also open to everyone!

We make clothing available to our neighbors at prices that help them to maintain a budget in these hard times. The proceeds of the clothing sales are used to help fund our food pantry and other outreach ministries to those who are struggling the most in this economy. Let your shopping have an impact. Come shop My Neighbor’s Boutique!

My Neighbor’s Garden provides fresh vegetables for My Neighbor’s Pantry. The Garden is a place where we can fellowship as we minister to one another and find a place where lives can change from the outside in. Our season begins once the winter weather breaks, and whether you have gardening skills or not, there is something for everyone. We have a volunteer base that is garden savvy and someone will be there with you.

It is so much more than “farming/gardening”. You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. God has placed us all here to do His works and to enjoy the beautiful things around us which He has provided. Come join in!

Let’s face it: Crisis is not simple. People who come to us for food and clothing have a whole range of needs that extend far beyond what we ourselves can handle.
That’s why we have “Navigators”– volunteers who are trained and equipped to help families and individuals in crisis navigate the range of services out there and come up with first and second steps to make life work better.

If you would like to join the Navigator team, please email us below.

If you need help and are unable to come to our center →, please give us a call. To search for help online, you can begin with NJ211 → and Somerset FSC →
